Lake Macquarie, NSW · Est. 1980
A family-friendly club on Lake Macquarie welcoming anglers of all ages and experience, from first-time juniors to seasoned competition fishers, run by volunteers since 1980.
Teralba Lakesiders Fishing Club has been part of the Lake Macquarie fishing community for more than forty years. We’re based at Teralba Bowling Club, our parent club, and everything we do is organised by volunteers: members who give their time so the club keeps running.
You don’t need a big boat, expensive gear or a shelf of trophies to fit in here. Women, juniors, families and experienced competition anglers all fish alongside each other. Some members come for the monthly competitions; plenty come for the Friday nights, the breakfasts and the company. Both are the point.
If you’re thinking about joining, the easiest first step is to come along to a Friday night at Teralba Bowling Club and say hello. Nobody will hurry you.
